The New York Patriots women’s softball program was established in 2019 by Melissa Tirado. The former head of PFL cheer pitched the idea to PFL owner David Patterson to create a platform for girls and young women aged 14-23. Using the same model from the Patriot football program, the Patriots softball team was shelved from starting up in 2020 due to the pandemic. In 2021 they hit the field for the first time with 16U 18U and 23U age groups. They took trips for clinics including being hosted by the New York Mets, and played competitively within the New York City area. Their season ended with a tournament in Syracuse, New York with a lot of team momentum going into 2022.
The New York Patriots softball made a huge splash in the landscape in 2021 and are looking to build for the 2022 season. Please contact us today for more info.
